Web30 dec. 2009 · In most standard set ups the barrel nut prevents the pin from moving toward the muzzle and you wouldn't be able to remove it without cutting it or removing the barrel nut. Actually, you maybe be able to remove the small c-clip on the pin and push it out reward toward the stock then remove the dust cover. Then reverse the process to reinstall it.
